“Give me sunsets in different cities and road trips on dirt tracks not sighted on maps”
– Mindy on the Move
This begins my series of tracking what people actually like. I am going to make it into a three-part series for each destination I visit, and it will include; part one, my stategy and what I will track, part two, quick updates and early observations, and lastly in part three, my full breakdown. This is going to helpful to me as we get started so I know what to post for you that’s genuinely interesting and what you think could be completely irrelevant. Between platforms such as Instagram and TikTok where I will post content of my day to day as well as keep a log update on my blog here for everyone. As this continues, I will know what to post and what not to post and can slowly start to gravitate towards those things better. I will be mainly focussing on current photos and highlights so there's always something going on, and current thoughts so I don’t have to go back and remember later on. It will be honest thoughts and in the moment ideas which will make it more authentic for everyone. The photos above are all photos from trips I have taken and have posted in Instagram, the photos that gained the most traction were from my trip to Mexico. I think this is because people crave what we aren’t familiar with. Going to places that don’t look like where you live which for me that is going from a suburban city to a tropical oceanside destination. The difference in the norm that shows is what makes people interested in my opinion. It is not similar to something you’d usually post about. Compared to my other recent trips being to cities similar to my own or close enough that many other people have already been there and seen everything I saw for the first time.
